The Software

The software is needed to control the data collection, but also to perform the evaluation. Due to the mathematical complexity of the evaluations, normally the user has to train a lot before making correct evaluations. The goal while developing the Cerberus software was to create a tool to evaluate light scattering data without complex training of the theory even for new users. All calculations as setting Baselines, Integration Regions and choosing fit model can be performed automatically by the program without long training of the user.. The software is based on the M.A.I.S. program, combines with a sophisticated hardware control.
